The FixitDoc Sports Injury App is the culmination of an altruistic vision to provide easy and affordable access to expert sports injury information. This comprehensive store of detailed and reliable information explains the pathology of specific injuries, symptoms and signs, investigations for diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment information in text and video formats. The App is free to download and all information on injury pathology, diagnosis, and investigation is free. A small monthly fee unlocks full access to the entire App including treatment sections that cover; anti-inflammatory measures, pain management, soft-tissue therapies, bracing and taping, footwear and orthotics, explanation and video demonstrations of muscle stretching and exercise rehabilitation, available injection types and videos of injection technique, and indications for surgery.

Whilst the treatment section includes specific information on injury management options, it is recommended that the App is always used in conjunction with appropriately qualified medical personnel. This should provide effective injury management to control pain, maximise recovery and function, and allow a safe return to work or sport.
